MGM Grand Parking Garage Fire
On Tuesday, January 4, 2011 Clark County Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle fire at the MGM Grand Parking Garage. No injuries were reported and structural damage was done. Damage to vehicles and smoke damage was estimated at 60,000 dollars.
The fire prompted a large response from firefighters and paramedics, which is standard practice when there is a fire reported at a hotel or hospital, officials said. A total of 41 personnel responded to the fire -- 28 from the Clark County Fire Department and 13 from Las Vegas Fire and Rescue.
